Ensure your Dumpster Waste is Acceptable

Before we can pick up and dispose of your materials, it is essential to ensure they are safe. Review our list of approved materials, and give us a call with any questions.

It is important to note that no type of yard debris can be mixed with other types of materials. The landfill will not accept any materials that is mixed with yard clippings or debris. If your dumpster is found to be mixed, you will need to unload and separate it before it can be removed.

*Items are accepted by landfill as acceptable waste. Due to the cumulitve weight of these items; you must specify upon ordering the dumpster, the amount of these items you will be disposing, it must be approved, and listed on your rental contract. These items, due to weight, may also require you to fill your dumpster at a lesser-level

Infectious waste, except as provided by N.C. Solid Waste Management Rules. “Infectious waste” means a solid waste capable of producing an infectious disease. The types of waste designated as infectious are microbiological waste, pathological waste, blood products and sharps.

Flammable and volatile wastes

Raw sewage sludge, spetic tank pumpings, or raw manure

NO WASTE CONTAMINATED WITH PETROLIUM PRODUCTS(i.e Oil cans, absorbents containers, parts, tar,sealants)

NO LIQUIDS: Wet materials such as cement,paint, or plaster are not allowed in bins

NO SOIL, DIRT, CLAY, SAND CONTAMINATED WITH ANY UNAPPROVED CHEMICALS OR PETROLEUM PRODUCTS

NO MATERIAL CONTAINING ASBESTOS

NO FLAMMABLE MATERIAL

NO EXPLOSIVE MATERIAL

NO PESTICIDES NOR THEIR CONTAINERS

NO TIRES

Hazardous wastes-“Hazardaus waste” means a solid waste or combination of solid wastes.

Barrels and drums that are not perforated sufficiently to ensure that no liquid or hazardous waste is contained therein

Burning or smoldering materials

Pose a substantial present or potential hazard to human health or the environment when improperly treated, stored, transported or disposed of or oherwise managed
